I purchased an aquac urchin pro with a mag 3 pump last week I have been running it for a week now and all.I get out of the skimming is this light green water I have 2 clowns, rbta and some zoas it is 37 gallon tank is this normal because I don't have a huge bio load the skimmer only cost me 50 bucks it was used should I clean out the spray injector does anyone else have this skimmer thanks

You should clean the parts about once a month with a vinegar solution.

Other than that, it sounds as if it may be working fairly well; it's very typical to get a lighter green skimmate in a lower-nutrient tank, and as long as it's foaming well and not flooding over you're in good shape. There would likely be a dark green "crud" or smelly protein deposits after a few hours above the foam, which is also a sign it's working.

As your tank matures, it could start getting darker, depending on bio-load.

ok well have have the dark green crud i had to wipe away with my finger in warm water it was thick so i guess it is working thanks

With your bioload your not going to have a really nasty nog. Once you have more fish and the tank matures you'll have a medium/dark brown coating that is not too pretty but means its doing its job;)
