Skimmer question.

I am buying a used 26 gal bowfront aquarium. It is coming CPR BacPac reef ready skimmer . Is this a good skimmer or should I look for something else? I heard a lot of complaints about the CPR skimmers, but that was for larger tanks. I'm new to this as you can probably tell. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard mixed reviews about them, but for the most part, those who use them on the back of Nanos have been more than pleased with them.
