Skimmer question

thanks for all the help here.. I just purchased a ehopps psk 100h skimmer for my 46 gallon fowlr.. i got a great deal on ebay for a used one... practicaly brand new.. anyways, i was wondering when i should turn it off? its a HOB skimmer.. do i turn it off when i do water changes and feedings? just waterchanges? im confused..thank you.

I only turn mine off during water changes as you usually do with the rest of your equipment and when i feed the corals, as i like my water to be dead still with no flow during coral feedings. Also certain medications require you to turn it off if you ever dose but other then that its on 24/7 for me mine also hangs on that back as well but its a corallife skimmer
