I have a Elos midi system and have been thinking of upgrading the stock skimmer so something a little beefier.
My main concern is micro bubbles. Does anyone know of a skimmer in that size range with no bubbles released back into the tank? The way the Elos sump is set up the skimmer and return pump are right next to each other without any baffles. The Elos skimmer gets around this by dumping the water in an adjacent chamber but no aftermarket skimmer I believe will have that ability.
Any suggestions?
