its between the diablo xs 160 with the sicce pump or the 1000 ls same skimmer with the bubble blaster pump what does everyone think. or is there something else out there in the same price range that is a better choice.

The sicce draws a bit more air. I would personally go with the 1000XP, mojo~ on the other hand is the skimmer god and prefers the 160:

either way you will be happy as long as the skimmer is matched to the tank size

watch the water level on the reef octopus, many of them line really shallow water. not sure on the 160 what the level should be.

tank is 75 gallon with 20 sump water level stays constant at 7 inches

bought the 1000ls with the bubble blaster pump will post pics and a review when i get it in. seeing that nobody knows anything about this skimmer

i was gona suggest the 160 as impo ite better balanced and the pump will be more reliable
