Skimmer suggestions

anyone have suggestions on a good HOB skimmer that doesn't cost 5 billion dollars? I'm looking for something less than $100 that will do a decent job on a 29 gal tank. Even used would be fine.

I've been using AquaC with maxi1200 HOB on a 29 and a 34. They work great I have one with a preskimmer and drain fitting. I am setting up a 110 and would like to get rid of one if you are interested pm me for price.

My Eshopps 100h is a pretty solid skimmer. I'm using it modified for in-sump use, but the reviews for the HOB application were solid. CPR bak paks are pretty good skimmers too. I have one and never used it long term, but it seemed to work well

all the above are good sugestions, and I would throw in reef ocotpus' HOB as well. I have run aquaC, CPR, and Reef octo and all worked well.

I have had good success with the Coralife line of skimmers for about 100.00 which works for up to 65G tanks.

Look at Marine Depot...they have a AquaticLife Mini 115 for 60 bucks...thsy also have a couple different CPR for 150.....marinedepot.com. Drs Foster&Smith CPR Bac-Pac is 120. I have Bac-Pacs on all my Seahorse tanks....29s, 30, 44. I'm pretty sold on them for smaller tanks...and the pumps and parts..only a couple parts...are available anywhere...MJ pumps................
