Skimmer suggestions

Hello I have a red Sea reefer 170 that I have acquired and am slowly gathering parts to do a build. I was hoping someone could suggest a decent skimmer for this tank without spending an arm and a leg I am for it but the wife has me on a budget. The total volume with the sump is 43 gallons I cannot remember the skimmer dimensions off the top of my head but will update when I find out.

A used skimmer is not a bad buy in most instances. As a rule of thumb, try to get a skimmer rated for twice your volume (in this case, say 90 gallons) and the action varies, too. They all bubble, but some produce bubbles like a can of soda and the more efficient ones produce bubbles like shaving lather. You want the dense, stand-up bubbles, preferably. The skimmer both provides aeration and keeps your nitrates down. The other consideration is how much room you have for it. I recommend siting it IN the sump: some spit water or foam on occasion, and it's ok if it goes back in, not so good on your floor. Check out your lfs and see if they have any used ones that would do the job for you.

I kept on scanning Craigslist and eventually a good deal came along. Just make sure it has all the parts when you pick it up.

the tank dimensions are
24.5"L
20"H
20"W
I have a sicce 2.0 return pump I am also asking if this would be adequate as well.
What would you recommend for a skimmer this is my first tank with a sump. the skimmer chamber is 11.8"x9.8" thanks for the help
