Skimmer Tuning

Need some advice on tuning a skimmer.
I have an ASM G3. It is used and should be past any break in period. It also has a Gate Mod on it.

When I set this up, how high up the neck should the big bubbles be breaking?

I have tried quite a few positions and I either end up with nothing in the cup or overflowing it completely. It looks like it will be a good skimmer, makes really good fine bubbles, if I can learn how to tune it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I bring my bubbles up to the base of the collection cup (where you disconnect the cup from the body)

You are my hero! Thank you very much. I woke up this morning to a nice cup of nasty stuff.

I was setting it way too high and making a nice little fountain in my sump. I've never messed with a skimmer before and as I got it used with no documentation I had no idea.
