I have 125gal mixed reef tank up and running for allmost 2 years. I have bought 2 different skimmers and have no luck. I just purchased a smr1 bio reactor mr1 reactor for carbon and new 250w 20000k radium bulbs. Looking fo a new skimmer to handle the bio load with the new equipment as the smr1 reactor up's the bio load. I'm restricted to a 22.5 inch tall and 10x13 inch footprint. I have a 40 gal custom refegium. I'm looking at the skimz sm 201 Monzter E series and swc 180 cone skimmer and wm mf kone 181. I allmost bought the swc but was told buy a dealer they had bad start up issues with the pumps. My tank is lightly stocked with 3 small 1 inch fish and 1 4 inch fish and about 20 lps corals. Looking for feed back good and bad so I can buy a skimmer and hook up all of the new reactors. I'm planning to stock my tank kinda heavy after I get a skimmer and everything is running good. Thanks.
