Hi I need a new skimmer. I have about 300.00 dollars to spend.I want it
to be very reliable. Any ideas. Thank you

Gotta tell us what size tank, and what type of tank? Fish only, coral only, mixed reef

Most of the 'big' brands are pretty reliable and will do good job. I'd select one that is rated for about 2x your water volume.

GO to Bulk Reef Supply website and check out there skimmer line and the reviews and videos on them..

I would recommend the skimmer i have but I have no experience with any of the other newer type skimmers other then what i use... As said above any of the better known skimmers will work well.. Some are VERY OVER PRICED...
