skimmers and controllers

Alright. I just PM'd the guy in the second link up there and told him I'll buy his Deltec skimmer. It is probably already sold or broken or "you fill in the blank"...

Yeah, that skimmer got hit by a bus - or was already sold, one of the two. Now there is a trigger system titan for sale - any thoughts?

I think when the right skimmer comes along it will be super easy for you..This reminds me of when I was looking for a 125g tank. Couldn't catch a break. Then an awesome tank at an awesome price...Hang in there..

Silly,

Not sure what size tank your running but if all else fails you might what to try this skimmer out as I am running the SC-65 (which is the baby brother to SC-180). The SC-65 is kicking butt in my tank pulling some of the nastiest smelling black gunk ever. Really just a knock off version of the Bubble Magus models but cheaper on the wallet. Hope this helps out.

For a skimmer, The SRO lineup is AWESOME. Cannot go wrong with the bubble blaster pumps, their performance and efficiency is outstanding. I use an SRO5000INT skimmer on my 225 setup and would not change it for anything. The skimmer is a BEAST.

For a controller, I use a neptune systems Apex which is another product I love.

A photo of the gear. Can see the apex display in the upper left corner. The skimmer cup after just 15 minutes of being cleaned.

Garage, that is one clean, well organized cabinet! Looks like something out of a government laboratory. Very impressive.

that cost more than my first car. it cost more than my second car...It might have cost more than my first 2 cars together!

OK - new direction. If I am looking for an adequate skimmer, not crazy good, do you have suggestions or "stay away froms?"
