skimmers

[it's her fault]

Looking for advice on what kind of skimmer to use on our 29gal that is not drilled. We currently have a prism, but it does not work properly in our opinion. We have just changed out lighting from pc's to mh and are wanting to grow frags.

I just added a Aqua C Remora to my AP 24 and in the last week it has pulled some nasty crud out of the water. My only strike against it is that it is sorta loud, which everyone says it is for the first 2 weeks. And I am still trying to figure the cup level to get thicker sludge.

+1 for the Remora or Remora Pro. I had a Pro on my 30G that I started out on and it did a great job.

Thanks for the info. I have ordered a Remora w/ a surface skimmer.
