I have a 55 gallon tank and I need a protien skimmer and only want to spend around $200 witch one is the best to get

No one really knows, because there's no objective data on skimmers, but that size tank is particularly hard because of the wide range of opinions I've heard about every skimmer in that class. You could consider a CoraLife SuperSkimmer, although it might be rather under-sized, or a Remora Pro.
