I make my own saltmix and when I add Kent Essential Elements to my mix the skimmer pulls it right out no matter how long I mix it in the barrel (up to a week). Is this normal?

How do you know the skimmer is pulling it out? Do your water parameters reflect a change or what's going on to make you think that?

that's a good question Recty, maybe it's just pulling the coloring out, my skimmate is blue just like the additive for a couple of days after I do the water change.
