Ive had the Skimz skimmer for going on 3 years. The pump ES2000 needle wheel Is rattling and if it stops it has a loud hum but producing good bubbles.
Should I just get a whole new pump or try replacing the impeller?
Is there a better option pump then the ES2000 ?
I had the same problem and bought a new pump. I replaced the pump and returned the skimmer to service. When I disassembled the old pump I found that the impeller was broken so I would recommend just buying the impeller.
