Skimz experience

I'll be upgrading my skimmer soon and I was curious if anyone had a Skimz. I thought that Kego possibly had one. I'm looking at multiple brands/styles but the 201 has kinda caught my eye.

I have the Skimz SN143 skimmer and I love it, it skims like crazy the only thing I do not like about it it the collection cup is very hard to remove. I usually pull the rubber cap on the bottom and drain it into a cup first then manhandle it to get it off to clean it. This might just be I don't have a lot of room and poor angles in my stand but I have read of other people with the same problem.

Seriously though I do have the Skimz SM201. I bought it used here on RC. It took about a week to break in but the thing is an absolute beast. I pull a full skimmer cup every 4-5 days thats too dark to see thru. once its broke in its super easy to adjust. if you want to skim a bit wetter/dryer.

Any thing else you wanna know LMK.

That seems to be the consensus from everything I read. I was bouncing back and forth between this and another skimmer. In the end, I liked the flexibility of this one better. I just placed my order.

I used to have one, pulled some nasty crud. The build quality wasn't too great, they were pretty sloppy with the seams but other than that it was a decent skimmer. Mine was one of the first imported, I got it as a promo deal so maybe that had something to do with the sloppy build.
