Hi,
I recently lost a sailfin tang that was eating great and seemded perfectly happy, until the other day I noticed that his one side had a white film that was kind of peeling or hanging off, I caught him way too easily so I moved him to my Q.T. tank. later that day upon inspection I noticed that his scales or skin was peeling as well. There where no stores open at that time to get medication so I left him till morning. The next morning he was dead. Now I'm noticing missing scales on my sohal tang and he seems to be dashing around eratically, he still eats like a pig but I'm concerned that this may be the same thing. Any suggerstions of what it could be and how to treat it? The water params are perfect as I checked them earlier today I didn't write them down and don't have the time to retest at the moment. Tank is a 180gal and I run an 18 watt U.V. 24hr a day. Thanks in advance for any help!
