skirt/flow,light/ length

if less light is available, the stalks extend.
if more light, the stalks shorten.

if more flow, the skirts extend.
if less flow, the skirts shorten.


is this correct?

This sounds about right-- and is what I have personally experienced with my creatures.

I don't know if its the type of zoa or if it has to do with flow, too, but the colonies that are in higher flow seem to be more brightly colored and reproduced faster, too.
