Skunk and Condy????

From what I have read, I thought this was highly unlikely. I'm confused. Is it not a Condy or is just a rarity?

And since I left it all out because I'm fairly excited. The LFS said it was a Condy, I'm still pretty new to all this and have been reading sticky's and other posts, but have learned an amazing amount from y'all. I'll post day pics tomorrow when the "sun" comes up for my tank. Hopefully the Condy and skunk are still friends

Definitely a condy. Not very unusual being its a skunk clown. most of them love all nems except carpets ime

By the way, is that a wahoo in your profile picture?

Golferbud, I was going to ask him the same thing, but I'm thinking that's a huge kingfish. Wahoo has telltale stripes on them, kingfish and baracuda don't; But it could just be the picture itself and it is a Wahoo. Wahoo= good to eat, Kingfish =not so much LOL

I grew up in south Louisiana and fishing the Gulf of Mexico caught many many fish there and boy do I miss it.

No it's a wahoo we caught in San Diego a few weeks ago. Lost color because it took two hours to get back that day. Thanks for the info all

Welcome to the forum skeet. By the way, people on here like to talk more than just tanks. This was me from my first wahoo trip in the NC gulfstream. It turned out to be the trip of a lifetime. 3 fathers and 3 sons. It was October 1997. I was 6 years old and just lost my grandfather to a heart attack(the man who introduced me to fishing). That day between the 6 of us we landed 14 wahoo, 6 kings, and 2 yellow fun tunas. 4 wahoo were lost at the boat while on the gaff and 1 40lb plus yellow fin lost to a shark. We also had a sailfish on for about 7 min. The longest lull a rod wasn't bent was 11min. We gave away and ate more fish than you could imagine. One awesome trip though. Never had another one quite like that one.

Sweet pics golferbud! Hey do you live close to the OBX? If so do you know Keith Rodgers?

~4 hours. I sure don't. I don't get to the obx very much unfortunately. We have a little place near cherry grove sc, so that's my inshore/costal spot. Most of my fishing is freshwater. I am one of those people who has to be fishing no matter if its fresh or salt. Whatever body is closest to me lol

LOL me too, but unfortunately my Lund 1850 Tyee has been sitting in my yard for the last 4 months. I had spine surgery June 18th and will not be able to fish again until Jan, but by then its all frozen here. :( So I'll wait until spring. Might do some pond bass fishing soon. :D

Sorry for the Hijack Skeet!

Wow that is awesome Golferbud. I make it out to SD a few times a year to fish. Been to Florida for peacocks and Venice for redfish.

Venice is next on my list. We catch redfish here in October in the 35-40in range on menhaden, but not nearly as many as people do in LA or as often.

You're gonna LOVE Venice!

Large mouth bass fishing is off the charts there while your're catching redfish, speckled trout and flounder.. You're making me homesick.
