Skunk Cleaner Life Expectancy

The skunk cleaner that I've had since Mar 05 suddenly died. What kind of life expectancy can normally be expected?

Several years, how big was it when you got it?

He was probably a couple of inches.

well that would put it as a large adult shrimp, no telling how old it was when you got it. Also, did you notice any black on its carapace or body and where? Spots or lines, its easy to see.

That's what I was kinda hoping, he just got old.

No, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary on his body.

I had a cleaner shrimp that developed some black on it's body before it died? Any idea what that is?

Vibrio infection... kills plenty of shrimp.
