Skunk cleaner shrimp

how long does it take for one to start cleaning your fish, mine seems to be trying to gain the trust of some of my chromis, but he can never grab them.
I have had him in there for about a month.

mines been trying for a month and just last night my yellow tail damsel let him clean him not for long but it looks like he's starting to trust him. give it some more time i was about to give up as well.

I don't think it will just clean the fish because they won't just cooperate whenever he feels like cleaning them. The fish need to go to the shrimp. I have had my cleaner shrimps for maybe 4-6 months, and it hasn't cleaned anything but my hand. Though it has been cleaning my midas blenny, but only on around 3 occasions.

Yeah my cleaner is the most social thing in my tank, he loves to nip at my hand and loves to eat krill from my hand.

My skunk will actually jump on my Yellow Tang to clean him. Pretty funny to watch. The Tang seems to monopolize most of his time. I was thinking of adding another shrimp. The old if 1 is good 2 must be better. Any thoughts on if I should add another Skunk or could I add a Blood/Fire/Scarlet cleaner shrimp.

In my experience, it's hit or miss. Some will be agressive and some will be passive.
