skunk shrimp & RBTA

Just a question, did your cleaner shrimp "investigate" the anenome when it was introduced? I just introduced a RBTA yesterday and my shrimp has been all over it- i think he is irritating because the anenome will be opening up but will close when he is on her. Also it keeps moving( which i know its normal until they find a spot). Is the anenome dying or is the shrimp tryiig to eat it? thanks

Its just annoying it for now. If you start to see him nipping at the tentacles, then you have a problem.

My cleaners love my bta. They are on and over the anemone since the day I added it. The clowns dont care about the shrimps.

I think the anemone provides security and they can also eat the foods that stick to anemone's tentacles.

i had a rbta about the size of a dinner plate, and i added two cleaner shrimp, a scarlet shrimp and three peppermint shrimp. they all poked, prodded and irritated the bta until 'audrey' (anybody else name their nems?) ate them all :)

no more irritation!

good luck.
