The SLASH Reefer of the Month program has begun! For those of you that are not familiar with what the SLASH ROTM is, here's a quote from slashclub.org:
In keeping with our idea that clubs are made for the members and that members will become friends, we wish to announce the SLASH ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œReefer of The Monthââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ program.
Every month one of our members will be featured along with his or her setup. We intend to not only show pictures of the membersââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ tank but pictures of the members themselves. We will have the usual tank set-up information but will also include a personal profile of the member. Think of it, without ever attending a single meeting, you can get to know a member and even recognize them in a LFS.
Here's how the ROTM will work:
1. Members will nominate members that they see as a good candidate for ROTM. To nominate a member simply reply to the monthly PM with your nomination. For record keeping purposes please send an email to slashclub@yahoo.com . The list of members can be seen on the SLASH website (slashclub.org) in the members only section.
2. You'll be able to nominate any active member until this coming Wednesday at midnight. This is so that the Sentinel staff can meet up with the member, interview, and take pictures of his/her tank (yes even if it is empty) before the June edition of Sentinel comes out
3. Once the nominations have ceased you will receive a PM with the list of eligible reefers. To vote on a member send your choice in an email to slashclub@yahoo.com just that easy.
