Sleeper gobys not eating

God of thunder

Hi there.

My golden headed sleeper gobys are not eating fish food,
They do eat algea and stuff they chew from the sand.
Do i need to worry about this?

Depends how much natural food they have in the sand...

If they are finding plenty of food there, then no worries.

If they look thin, take a bunch of mysis or brine shrimp and inject them into the sand bed so that only they get find it. I've done this in the past....just watch where they're close to munching and inject it into a spot nearby. They'll find it.

Our sleeper goby eats our clams on a half shell like a champ. They were originally put in for a puffer fish, but I have yet to see the puffer get to even try one before the goby gets it.
