Diver's Den has a cool-looking slipper lobster for sale, 4". They say reef safe, I'm thinking probably not. Anyone have an opinion?

It depends on what you have in your tank and what you want to keep uneaten. The Diver's Den animal is Parribacus antarcticus. A reference I checked said their favorite food is molluscs, especially gastropods & chitons, second favorite food is big, fleshy anemones, and then worms, echinoderms, & small crustaceans.

Jeez, my tank would be a buffet, starting with the big, fleshy anemone!

100% Right! I know the hard way.:furious:

i would suggest that you pass as they are somewhat destructive in their digging and also a bit boisterous in crawling around and will knock corals off if it is in their path .
