my green soft coral has slumped over for no apparent reason all the other corals doing fine, it came from a setup that had MH lighting i only have six HO T5s over mine this could be the problem, and how much flow do softies generally like?

Is this coral new to your tank? If so then that's normal, give it a few days and it should perk right up.

As far as flow most like good flow, especially if they are new to the tank. They will slime upa nd if they have some good flow it helps peel the slime off them.

yeah went in two days ago. got a bit of slime going, might move it to more flow to night, see what happens in the morning

Yes then that's normal. Give it a few days see what it does but for the most part it is just acclimating to your tank and will plump up soon.

not looking to good today its got some kind of black slime around the base and is more deflated than yesterday don't know whether to give up on it and pull it out so it doesn't effect the water quality as it dies and breaks down.

sadly had to throw that green soft coral away as it seemed to react badly to the move and just tuned to a black goo
