small hang on skimmer suggestions

Looking for skimmer that can do small tanks such as 5 to 10 gallons. Plug and play unit. Easy to put on and take off tank. DIY people welcome to wade in here too. I haven't found a model yet that won't be too much for that size tank.

I recently bought a Skilter filter/skimmer for my 3 pico and have been pleased thus far. Use part of it for a fuge. It pulls some nasty gunk out. It provider so much flow in the tank, I had to pull out the PH.

It all depends on how much air you are letting in. I open it wide open while I am at work or while we are sleeping at night and then adjust it to let less air in. "With it wide open, it makes lot more noise and skimate.

i remember a long time ago at kermits dave had a skilter that he modded with an air stone. it was very quiet and very good at skimming.

just drill a hole and pop on an air pump.
