I'm still on the hunt for my next addition and I was thinking, are there any small fish that eat algae in your tank kinda like a Yellow Tang but smaller?

Blennies

Blennies

I just did some looking on LiveAquaria and all I found were Blennies. It looks like most if not all Blennies are herbivores. Here are a few of the prettier ones (IMO):

Sailfin/Algae Blenny (Salarias fasciatus)

Tail Spot Blenny (Ecsenius stigmatura)

Starry Blenny (Salarias ramosus)

Bicolor Blenny (Ecsenius bicolor)

Some species from the Ecsenius genus can be hit or miss with corals. If you have SPS, stick with Salarias

I have the starry blenny, awesome little guy. Will occasionaly scrape the alega off rock. Reef safe.
