small organisms all over the tank?

I recently returned from vacation to find my tank full small organisms. They look like miniature shrimp about 1mm to 2mm in lenght. Some are abit larger. I do not know what this is as I have never seen it my other tank. Any ideas?

Sounds like your tanks is providing good conditions for the growth of amphipods or mysids. Don't worry about the numbers, the population will crash when the food supply decreases. Meanwhile they're helpful cleaners & food for other critters.
