small pipefish tank

It depends on the type of pipefish. Something like the florida pugnose pipefish, you could probably keep in someting as small as a 5 gallon; maybe even a 2 gallon. For most other species, you'll probably want at least a 10 gallon, 20 - 30 gallon for really large species (alligator pipefish come to mind) and even large for ones like dragonface pipefish which can be difficult to get to feed on frozen food. Do you have any species in mind?
