MaxiJet 900 which is 9 watts. the 1200 is 20watts. Use 5/8" ID Vinyl tubing from Home Depot.
Thanks Johnnie but to powerful for Phosban

I have a rio 90 for my phosban reactor and UV...its not a whole lot of flow but its enough to keep the top of the phosban media moving...

A lot of people dont like Rios...but Ive had mine over a year and have yet to have a problem...just incase get a ground probe if you dont have one already!! Good luck! cant wait to see this tank when its done with all the work you've put into it! =)

Ive learned from my last tank....need to have a (ground probe ).
Tank is coming along....Alll my planning seem to coming into place....I keep having new ideas...but like they say you learn by your mistakes......

if you dont mind me asking how much are reactors like that? im looking to make my reef a little more high tech (skimmer, phosban reactor, etc) and trying to figure out what its going to set me back..

Skimmer should be a standard unless you do a lot of waterchanges.

Phosban reactors are about 40 bucks, not bad at all.

You can have a awsome tank without a Skimmer.....Just look at Roggers "Tank Of The Month" (Skimmless)

Brian, I have a Mag 2 that I keep in the sump inside a nylon sock to prevent debri from entering the reactors, the outlet on the the mag 2 has a "T" feeding my 2 fluidized reactors, it works really good, I don't need to restrict the flow.
