I'm not sure if anyone can tell me without a picture but i have a small red fromia seastar, its about the size of a golden dollar. and is bright red with tiny little black spikes across its limbs. does anyone know what species this is? and what it eats? i was told that it might get interested in my star polyps, so i want to try and make sure i keep it fed, i just dont know what to feed it. thanks

It is likely Fromia milleporella.

It is unlikely to be interested in star polyps...don't let the small size fool you. This needs a LARGE tank with a lot of LR. It is at least as, if not more difficult than Linckia's, IMO. Many die within a month, of acclimation shock...and many more in about a year, of starvation.
