Small Reef Advice Needed

Please advise:

My first nano reef is ready for additions. It is a fully cured 24 gallon AquaPod. 28 lbs LR, 30 lbs LS. Rock is chocked full of life. So far just a few mushrooms, red, and polyps, plus a few small (hitchhiker, lucky me) corals. Water is purfect, just tested a LFS, where, BTW, I get my saltwater (RedSea).

My goal is simplicity. I am a "retired" reefer, downsized from a 250 reef. Yes, some will find it hard to believe I know. But after years of reefing, I think I am enjoying this tank more than any other I have ever had. Sometimes, with age, things just get smaller:eek1: lol

Since I am used to really big tanks I need fish advice for this little reef.

Here's what I'd like:

1 Six Line Wrasse
1 Clown Gobbie
1 "other" Gobbie, maybe...

Yes! That's it! Will it work? Any suggestions will be appreciated by your nanonesses!

Thank you for your reply, and your warm welcome....

I'm trying to stay away from anything that needs to be fed too much, like perc's, as I want to keep the nutrient inport as low as possible. Although a pair of TR Ocellarius was my first choice.

Any other suggestions for my limited choices?

Thank you!

honestly I can say that I love some of the small gobies that would just get lost in a huge tank. There are a few out there that are usually available including, catalina goby, greeen bar goby, neon goby, red-head goby (one of my favorites) and many others. The fish are tiny in comparison and usually have a ton of personality. And with their small size and ease of care you could throw a couple in there that will each make their own little territory.

lol! I just got home from my LFS, with a Clown Goby (all yellow), barely 1" long! Yes, I love these little guys. My other decision was a Solaris Blenny, who is already darting in/out of his new cave, and peering at me, real friendly. He, too, is a small guy, about 1.5".

Then there's my new zoo's, but that's another story........

Thanks for your help. Any additional comments or suggestions are really welcome. These small tanks rock!

hey the sixline would be fine in that tank i have a 12 nano sps reef with a sixline and he does great so your tank should be no problem. the more fish u have in that small tank the more water changes u need to do its not like your big reef haha. i do a weekly with just one fish but my tank is half the size of yours. good luck
