small smashers

i got a mantis shrimp a few months ago. when i git him he ended up riping off his smashers. they have grown back sense then but they are tiny. I was wondering if they will ever be back to the original size, and if so how long will it take?

I've read that it takes several (4+) molting cycles for them to get back to full size and functionality.

yup, they will grow back eventually but will take a few molts to be back 100%. if you want to speed up the process, feed frozen food soaked in selcon everyday. make sure to remove any uneaten food. keep water quality high.
