I raised my old RBTA from about a nickel size. Caught "debri" during feeding time initially then eventually went to silverside and krill pieces. Took about 4 months to get to be about 4-6" at the disk. Then it split into three. This was all in about 5-6 months.

End of a turkey baster for size comparison:)

I had one in the black basket and part of the foot and a few tentacles went through one of the holes. Then it tore itself off and formed a really small one on the outside.

Wow. Very cool. Never seen one THAT small. :)

AWWWWWWW! IT's so cute! I used to have one the size of a quarter and now it is the size of a dollar. Anyways, feed it a small piece of mysis every day (like it says on Karen's site) and it will be the size of a quarter in no time at all! Also, did that split off of one of your anemones or did you buy it from an LFS? If you bought it from an LFS, how much was it?

my cam isnt the best. So no pics. I got it from a fellow reefer with some other frags. Dont know how it formed was told it was from a tear in the parent. Looks like ill keep it up with the every 3rd day mysis feeding.

That lil guy is soo tiny. Please post progress pics as it grows. Mine started about 2" half dead and went to 8" in a few months. Now it turned dark purple from green. weird. Yours is the smallest I've seen for sure though. Good luck.

Rayshake, let me see a picture of yours. BTA normally aren't purple... unless you are talking about that really, really dark, dark maroon color that they get when under REALLY intense lights.

here is a pic of the smallest one I have cloned. Found it on the opposite side of the tank for the rest of the clones. Only thing I can figure is a split with a little left over that actually lived. Makes me wonder how small I could cut one up?
