So I come home today and look at my smith's blenny and it's got a beard! Well, half a beard and and really hair eyebrow. At least that's what it looks like. I think it may be some sort of fungus. But what do I do?

He's got 2 little patches of "hair" it's white and kind of fluffy looking.

Here's the best pictures I could get.

I don't know what it is, but I would get it in the QT tank asap.
Nice looking fish otherwise. I like it.
Hopefully you found this in time.
Good Luck.

Yeah........the QT thing...........don't got one of those. But if someone would like to put it in their QT it'd be appreciated.

Come to think of it, we do have a bristleworm that's about a foot long.

And I did see him moving from the blenny's home today.

I originally looked at the urchin, but the urchin bristles are too thick and long for this.

What should I do? try to catch him then pull them out?

I believe you should do nothing Lebowski.

I've done that before, so I think I can manage to do it again.
