New zoanthid...
...and it came with a free hitchhiker!
Not sure how I'm going to kill that aptasia yet. I have been using Joe's Juice but maybe vinegar would be better in this case. I think I'll post in the zoanthid section on this issue.
A few more new frags,
cool button (actinics)
$5 frag of asst zoos and a button (actinics left / full lights right)
Another zoo that fell off the $5 frag, I mounted it solo (actinics)
And finally one of the reasons to wear gloves when handling live rock
I realize they are good for the tank but man they freak me out!

Bubble algae is considered a bad thing. Mine was eaten by Emerald Crabs.

The Kenya tree did not make it. I think it was too small. I first tried to attach it with fishing line but it worked itself off of the line. The shown pic was my second attempt but it shriveled way down, worked itself off of the rubber band never to be seen again. RIP little buddy.

Awesome Tank!!!!! I am just amazed at such a variety of things you are able to keep in a tank without Metal Halides. I never realized that variety.

Looks good, my 24 pod has been running since march and I only have my lr, 3 bumble bee snails, 3 certh snails, and 2 red legged hermits. I hope my tank looks that good once I get to adding some more stuff to it.

Looking good! I like the way you aquascaped too. Whatever happen to the small starfish that appeared on your glass? Did you get something to eat it? I have 2 I spotted on my glass, they seem to be missing a leg though. No others have been noted.

The starfish has not been seen in a long time. I hesitate to say it is gone as saying that usually means I see the critter next time I look at the tank.
On the Goby/Shrimp pair they did pair up immediately, or at least overnight. At the LFS the Goby was kept in an Aquapod 12 with a different shrimp. They couldn't catch the shrimp so they grabbed one from a different tank. I was worried the Goby would not like the "strange" shrimp but I don't think it mattered at all.
I don't run a skimmer but I did swap the stock pump for a maxijet 1200. In the back chambers I have live rock in chamber 1. I also use some mechanical/chemical filtration in chamber 1. The water spilling over the return falls onto this filtration sandwich: Top is floss, then bag O carbon, then air conditioner filter, then 1/4 of the supplied blue block to hold it all up. I change the carbon once a month, floss once a week, air conditioner filter once a week or every other week, and I swap out the blue block weekly.
I change 3.5 gallons of water weekly and use Instant Ocean. I don't dose as my alk/Ca levels are staying static with just the water changes.
And because I got too talky, here is a pic:

I just stumbled upon your thread and wanted to tell you what an amazing tank you have there in a short period of time. I have a 55 myself that's been up for about 2 months now and I only have a frag of xenia and a frag of blue anthelia. I guess i have some catching up to do 
Can't wait to see what it looks like once you let things grow out.
