snail egg gestation

I have eggs on my glass from small snails. I don't know what kind of snails produced them. In general, what's the gestation period of snail eggs?

It varies tremendously with the species, but mostly on the order of days to weeks. Then there's the consideration of how long the larvae remain in the water column before they settle, assuming they aren't direct developers (and most aren't).
