Snail I.D. please

Can anyone give me a positive I.D. on this snail. I woould like to add it to my tank but I'd prefer to I.D. it first. It was found in a pool on a mudflat in southwest florida. Thank you

It looks like just the shell.

It appears to be a cerith species, quite possibly Cerithidea scalariformis. Nothing sinister about these guys, mainly detritus feeders. Should be fine for the tank.
