Hi all I am new to this forum. I have just got back into marine keeping after a long 8 year gap. Everything seems to be going OK apart from some of my Zoanthids seem to be a little unhappy. Late at night we see a few of these small snails they are about 6mm in length. My wife is worried they are predatory and causing issues for the Zoa's. Any info on them would be great.

It looks to be a type of nassarius, but I am not sure.

Those little whitish shells that wander around reef tanks are usually rissoids, however...I think theresearcher is right, that looks like Nassarius hanraveni. If so, it's the first time I've seen that species as a hitchhiker. It shouldn't hurt anything.
