snail ID

I have found two of these in my tank. Anyone know what they are? Are they safe.

They are almost like a black, and white checkerboard.

It's a cerith, and is reef safe. It's probably either one of the species currently being lumped under the name Clypeomorus batillariaeformis or a variation of Clypeomorus petrosus.
