Snail/invert group buy

Adding the brittle stars to our order and doubled up our scarlet hermit order.

So here is our appended order :

Lego, if we are a couple off from the next price tier for any of the critters, go ahead and add to our list to make the next tier. Our tank should be large enough to handle a couple of extra of any of those. And just be sure to let me know to PP you the xtra $$.


Not to confuse any issues, but we have a bunch of live sand (and some not so live any more) that we were going to use for an RDSB. Since we will be performing rather aggressive skimming we decided not to pursue an RDSB at this time. So we now have 12 - 15 5 gallon buckets worth of argonite sand (about 450 pounds, give or take). If anyone is interested in trading for a couple og buckets we can bring some with us to the pickup and meet up there.
 
sparkss, I'm interested in some buckets. I could pick up your order for you and we could make some sort of trade.

also I we for sure going with saturday march 17th?
 
If 'lego' is a pickup location, I can pickup from (Mountain View I suppose) and drive by QWIV and Lordhelmet's houses on Friday night.
 
chem-e, that is the spread sheet from before. I don't think the guys ordering are using it. Just thought it would help.

Sparkss, I'll take some sand from you. What is an OG Bucket?? I need a lot of sand.

So who is doing the order now?? I am confused.

EDIT : I need to re-bucket the sand. Right now it is in 2 100 gallon tanks with about an inch of water over them. Plus all of hte sand from our current 100g corner tank. I will wait until probably Sat monring to do that to try to limit the amount of sulfide gas in the buckets (isn't that what casues the rotten egg smell ?). There are a couple of buckets that are still fuill.. so those would definitley need to be rinsed.

While I am not asking for anything major, but something nice to trade would be appreciated, or first shot at any cool frags that you may be putting up for sale later. While I didn't pay for this sand, I did have to travel around and collect it from several tanks and the buckets from Home Depot weren't free either :)

I third the vote for NOT this weekend. I've been sick as a dog this week I'm starting to think I'm not getting better for the weekend.

To summarize:

1. The order is not for this weekend - we are too late. It sounds like next weekend (3/17) will work.

2. I'm going to coordinate order details and payment.

3. TeacherMark will still be the one recieving the order and handling distribution of the items.

I'm assuming that the pickup arrangements some of us have made with DarkHelmet are still the plan of action.


I will punch in all the orders tonight (including sparks' changes, mark's order and kinetic's order) and tomorrow I'll contact keys/crazyreefer with totals so I can get the shipping cost. I'll then post the summary of orders, what each person owes, and my paypal info. Upon recieving the money I'll place the order and schedule delivery to Mark.

Yes just caught that - you stated you wanted 18 in a previous message so YES we are over $500!

I am toying with the idea of moe scarletts.. they are just rather pricey still. We are still fishing the blue legged hermits out of our main tank (to ensure that the scarlets will not become dinner for the blue legged ones again, like the last couple we tried to add).

If you need to add any more to bump the order $$.. then bump our scarlet numbers.

Did xinumaster want 100 bl hermits? I didn't see him in the previous summaries - did he change his mind?

TeacherMark is handling the distribution - so he has final say on whether anyone else can join in at this point.

Allenhah & Naso please contact him for whether you can join in.

I've contacted keys to get final pricing and shipping, so we are just about set.
