Sure, I actually lost the frog spawn head I saved, so I will totally trade you back. I left it in the sump to long. I lost the color you had on the milli. It looked sweet under the PC lights in the quarantine tank, but dulled in the big tank under the MH. What kinda light did you have it under? I need to put a frag in another tank and see what happens to it.

She is a good grower though.

I sent Keys Critters an Email with a question about the cukes, just to clarify, and I was moderately disappointed with some of their responses. But the thing that got me was that I identified myself as being part of that group order from the SF Bay Area and here is what they told me :

We do not have this order scheduled for delivery this week. As of right now, the order is still changing and has not been paid for. There will not be enough time in this week to collect the order and process the livestock.

I got an email back from Keys this morning (their turnaround on email seems to be about a day and a half) :

It will not be possible to ship this week. We do not collect livestock until an order is finalized. The crews have collected all the livestock for this week and are working on next weeks orders.

Basically they need the order finalized by Saturday night our time in order to ship it that week.

So here's where we stand:
I've recieved payment from everyone execept Stubbsz.
Kinetic backed out, so I removed his order yesterday.

Shipping came in less than I estimated, so everyone will get a small refund back.

The order can be delivered next Friday (3/23)

Will that work for everyone?

That actually works better for me...Instead of giving me a refund, would it be easier if I just threw a couple extra Astrias into my order?

I'd prefer to just get the order locked down and paid for without any more changes. Refunding the excess shipping will be easy through PayPal. I'll hold off with this until the order is placed and paid for.

If for some reason we need to update the order one last time (if anyone drops out because of the change in delivery) - then I'd be open to it. But barring that, I'd prefer to just get Stubbzs payment, pay keyscritters, and anxiously await delivery next Friday.

So that should be it, assuming everyone is ok with the order coming in next week.

I should point out that the main delay in emails between us and keys is due to timezone differences - keys closes for the day while its still afternoon here. The link I included in the above states how far in advance they need the order, the impression given at the beginning of this thread that we could finalize the order during the week and get it that thursday/friday was not correct.

Now that we have the order locked down, and the money collected we should be all set to complete this transaction.

I plan to PayPal the money to keys tomorrow morning (Wednesday) for Delivery on Friday the 23rd (next week).

So if there are any issues, speak now or forever hold your peace.

might as well lock and send it now, so that they have ample time to collect our order, without worrying about a storm front causing collecting delays (as has happened in past group buys of this size). I have also seen where large orders took longer to pull together by the vendor, thereby also pushing out the delivery time. So the earlier the better I would say.

Next week will actually be much better for me, so I have no objections. Pickup next friday will be from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Saturday will be 8:00am to 8:00pm. Let me know if this will not work for any of you and i'll try to work out a special pickup time.
