Snails covered in bubble algae

went through some Cyano and bubble algae issues. Cyano is gone and bubble is pretty much gone as well but is covering some of my turbos. When I did some manual removal the first time around I did pop one or two which I know isn't good. I don't think I want to try that with the snails since it's really not spreading but they are covered. Just wait till they pass on and then toss the shells or does someone have an idea? It's ugly to look at but I can deal with it.

I'd move the snails into a bowl with tank water, pick off bubbles, brush the shells lightly with a toothbrush, rinse in second bowl of tank water, then put back into tank.

+1 on that ! does the trick all the time for rocks / snails / frags with any type of algae. I usual use water from my WC so there's no waste of good tank water.
