Snails Crabs or Both?

Emerald crabs and hermits can be very helpful and yes, crabs will kill snails for there shells IF you have no extra empty shells in the tank.

Fact: crabs will take a snails shell regardless of amount of empty shells or food in the tank. There is no reason to ever put any type of crab in your tank. I know what your thinking, What if I only want crabs and not snails? Well then your crabs will just kill each other until there is only one just like Highlander's. Just say no to crabs.

Agree to no crabs! The ones I did have were relocated to my sump where Herbie the Mantis Shrimp lives.
