snails in local area are being reef safe

Hi there

I have a reef tank with a slight algae problem. Given water is ok I am now thinking the problem lies in the fact I have little to no cleanup crew to eat the algae buildup.

I was thinking of collecting snails from my local area (Newcastle Australia). From doing a bit of reading possibly the following would be suitable and Reef safe.
1) Banded Kelp Snail (Bankivia Fasciata)

2) Spengler's Rock Whelk (Cabestana Spengleri)

3) Green Warrener (Turbo Undulata)

4) Cart-rut (Dicathais Orbita)

5) Zebra Top (Austocochlea Porcata)

5) Black Nerite (Nerita Atramentosa

6) Mulberry Whelk (Morula Marginalba)

7) Striped Mouth Conniwink (Bembicium Nanum)

8) Limpets

9) Elephant Snail (Scutus Aintipodes)

Any advice would be appreciated

watch out for the dicathais & morula they are cannibals and hunt the other snails. Learned it the hard way after collecting off the beach keeping them in my tank for a week
Zebra periwinkles are the best snail to have for algae IME.

Nerites are tidal snails and will crawl out. I'd suggest you avoid those.
Get some limpets! Nobody has limpets instead of snails, not that I've seen. Just don't pry them off rocks, you'll hurt them. Look for ones sitting on shells and other easily moveable things.
