dose any one know if i can get snails from the indian river lagoon in FL

Have you been there to see if you see any? Any of the snails you find on the grass should be good ones, and any true nerites or Nassarius should be fine.

there's a number of good critters in the lagoon (I'm in Stuart), including true Strombus conchs, nassarius vibex, a few species of cerith and nerite snails, bubble snails, sea hares, etc. there's also a slew of bad ones too.

Ricks, which bubbles do you find there? Don't know if you ever go to this lagoon and/or if you have a camera, but if you wouldn't mind taking photos of any bubbles you find, that would be incredibly interesting to me. I've never had a bubble, but I've read about them and would like to learn more.

I'm within a 1/2 mile of the IR lagoon...

I'll see if I can track down one from my systems (I think I still have a few cruising around one of my outdoor prop tanks) and snap a pic, but I think I ID'ed them before as Bulla umbilicata.
