snails?

Freshwater shrimp are ok, freshwater fish are not, what about freshwater snails as an octosnack?

Well you know what happens when you put salt on a slug.. fresh water snails might do the same thing.
I am not sure of the nutritional value. I try to stick with things I know are good. There is enough availabe out there you really dont need to throw a unknown in the mix. Hows the little guy doing pat? More fun than the merc isn't he

haha, yea you could say that. He is quite active in the afternoons. How is your little merc doing? Has he grown? Do you ever see him or is he strictly nocturnal?

The merc is doing well. but strictly nocturnal.
He tends to be a way more nervous than a bimac.
He has been eating fiddler crabs and grown quite a bit, but still smaller than the baby bimacs.

I have deffinetly lost the 'weak' bimac. It is dead.

The other one which was way stronger from the start is doing great... again, more active in the afternoons but once fed may dissapear for a day or so. But,, the crabs I am giving it are bigger than him until I get back to the beach....

I supose it was just the shipping that stressed it out beyond recovery..... from California to London to Manchester to Penrith to me.... quite a lot of miles!

Once I have finished redecorating the room and set up the 'new' tank, I'll see if I can maybe get some cash together for a group of them. More chance of pairs then.....
