Snails

I was wondering if i could add a couple of snails to my larval tank and or my rotifer tank in order to keep things a little cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. I assume rotifers do not mate on the glass but i dont want to find out to late that they do and have my culture wiped out.

The tank that the snail is in is the cleanest one of them all. Belleville Ontario.

I put a couple of snails in my tank with the sandbed. I know have about 50. I'm going to start moving them to my other tanks.

What kind of snails are they that are reproducing FB?

They are either cerith or Nassarius. Not to sure. In my 30 they went nuts I had about 100 of them. There numbers seemed to come and go as needed. They did not overpopulate the tank like some FW snails can.
