ok well i have my mantis in a 20 Long across the room from my main tank and sump and i know what a mantis sounds like. so here is the question i had my mantis in the sump of my tank for awhile until i set up his new tank and since he has been gone i still hear snapping noises whether it be from the sump or from the main tank i do not know. So besides a mantis and what i have heard of a Pistol shrimp does anyone have any photos of those guys. i dont know what is making the noise do you guys know of any way that i can find out what it is coming from. now i have two cleaner shrimp in the main tank but i do not think it is them but i cant see it being in the sump since that is where my mantis was and i did not think that they cohabitated with other mantis or shrimp. now i put him in there when i set up the sump since the sump was his old tank i put live rock in there that i had in another tank and i got a batch calerpra from the fish store. any suggestions. sorry for ranting i was just trying to get out all the facts so that you guys can better understand the situation. thanks
